We Can House Ann

"We Can House Ann" is a comprehensive social engagement project dedicated to supporting Ann, a well-known unhoused Black woman from All Saints. This initiative included fundraisers, punk shows, an independent documentary, an underground supply network, legal advice, and monthly community meetings. Our efforts aimed to secure housing for Ann over several months. Despite our commitment, Ann was eventually arrested and spent over a year in Leon County Jail. The fundraiser donations were used for her commissary, highlighting the ongoing struggle for support and justice within marginalized communities.
